...A very good post, Bob. Thank you for sharing it.

The problem in the world today is that the majority are not following the Word of God, but "everyone is doing what is right in their own eyes." The Word of God is an impartial bedrock, as separate from the opinions of man as the Creator is separate from His creation; a solid foundation on which to build one's life, something which cannot be gainsaid. Man's opinions differ from person to person, and change from moment to moment, according to expediency or short-term benefit, and with political correctness, every different opinion of man is deemed valid. This is foolishness - they cannot all be right; it defies logic! - and this way leads to anarchy and chaos.

The laws passed by governments are now formed by man's opinion, the most likely way the politicians will get re-elected, and not because they are right. Right is now wrong, and vice versa. People who follow God's law are deemed to be law-breakers because they upset the majority, who want to go on sinning and don't want people telling them that what they are doing is wrong. (This is just considered "another opinion," anyway!) The result is that true Biblical Christianity is being legislated out the window and we are not permitted to speak the Truth any longer, but only "truths," which is a contradiction in terms.

As time passes, as it becomes more and more difficult to be a Christian in today's world, and we are more and more forced to be square pegs in round holes, the more apparent the difference is becoming. As wheat and tares grow up together, it becomes more and more obvious which is which, and we are seeing a definite polarisation in modern society. This fits in with the signs given in the Bible that we are in the End Times, and that the Coming of the Lord Jesus will not be delayed much longer.

I am glad to be what the world considers a fool. God's definition of a fool is quite different: "The fool has said in his heart, there is no God" (Ps. 14 & 53).Shoshihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00028185699225457125noreply@blogger.com
